Ian J. Forte, JD

Ian joined Indiana Trust Wealth Management in November 2021 as Vice President and Wealth Advisor.  Prior to joining Indiana Trust, Ian served as Vice President and Trust Officer in the trust and wealth management division of a regional bank for 5 years.   Ian was also in the private practice of law for more than 17 years, where he served small businesses, individuals, and families in trust, estate, business, real estate, and litigation matters.

As a Wealth Advisor, Ian assists clients with complex planning needs, including estate, tax, charitable, retirement, and business succession planning, by building strong personal relationships to understand their unique situations and implement solutions that not only meet their needs but also help define their legacy.

Ian received a Bachelor of Arts degree from DePauw University in 1994, and a Juris Doctorate degree from Valparaiso University in 1997.  In support of his community, he currently serves on the board of directors for Bashor Children's Home and the Elkhart County Public Defender Board.  Ian served as the Treasurer of the Elkhart City Bar Association for 8 years, and is a member of the Elkhart County Estate Planning Council.
