What is the new security feature?
In order to make your online experience as secure as possible, we are introducing a new security feature that watches for uncharacteristic or unusual behavior involving you account. If anything out of the ordinary is detected, we will ask you to verify your identity.
Do I need to sign up for the new security system?
No, we are rolling out the new security system to all of our clients, with an anticipated implementation date of December 1st. Expect to be prompted at some point, while online, to enter additional information. This may include choosing several security questions that only you know the answers to. Once this occurs, an additional layer of protection will be added to your account.
How does it work?
In the rare case we detect any unusual or uncharacteristic activity; we will ask you to answer the security questions, to make sure that it’s really you. Most of the time you won’t notice that the security feature is even there… but it will still be protecting you 24/7.
