As required by Federal law, we will provide you with a copy of our Privacy Policy each year. If you have previously notified us about your privacy preferences, as described in our “opt out” section, then it is not necessary to do so again unless you have changed your preferences.

Information about our Policy:

  • We may obtain information to provide you investment management services you have requested, to service your account.
  • We may collect identification and contact information, as well as transaction information from applications, transactions with others, and from outside companies.

We may disclose all the personal information we collect. We may share personal information in some types of situations

Disclosure to Marketing Firms:
We will not disclose any personal information for marketing purposes.

Disclosures to Affiliates:
Indiana Trust & Investment Management Company is an independent company with an affiliate office in Mishawaka, Indiana, and shares information solely with them as an affiliate only to service your account or fulfill your request.

Disclosures to Interested Parties:
Indiana Trust & Investment Management Company will not disclose account or personal information to parties not listed as an authorized signer on your account without prior written or verbal approval from the account owner.

Disclosures to Outside Companies:
We may disclose your personal information we collect to outside companies for related purposes, unless you have opted out, as described below. Outside companies are non-Indiana Trust & Investment Management Companies who may offer services to you or your account such as: Financial service organizations and Accountants.

Disclosure of Health Information:
We will not disclose any personal health related information for instance to determine coverage, unless authorized by you or otherwise permitted or required by law.

Disclosures Permitted By Law:
We may disclose all information we collect as permitted or required by law. For example, we may disclose information to law enforcement agencies.

When We Will Notify You:
If you are a current client, we will send you an annual Privacy Policy notice to you. If you no longer maintain a client relationship with us, we will continue to follow our Privacy Policy and practices, but you will not receive future notices from us.

Change in Privacy Policy:
We reserve the right to modify or supplement this Privacy Policy at any time. If we make material changes, we will provide current clients with a revised notice that describes our new practices and will give them a reasonable opportunity to opt out of the disclosure of information under the revised Privacy Policy.

Our Security Procedures:
We maintain procedures and technology designed to prevent unauthorized access to personal information. We maintain physical, electronic, and procedures protections in accordance with applicable standards to protect personal information. We restrict access to personal information to employees and services providers for legitimate business purposes to assist in providing services to you and your accounts. Employees who violate our Privacy Policy are subject to disciplinary action.

In addition to the Privacy Policy outlined above, the following on-line policy principles apply when you visit us on the World Wide Web.

On-line information and collection: You can visit us on the World Wide Web our web site is www.indtrust.com without telling us who you are or revealing any information about yourself, including your-email address. In this case, our web servers collect the name of the domain you used to access the Internet, such as aol.com or NBCi.com, and the Web site you came from and visit next.

E-mail otherwise sent to us or to another of our addresses may not be secure. You will be asked for your name, social security number and account numbers. Or by requesting and returning by mail the opt out form to Indiana Trust & Investment Management Company, 3930 Edison Lakes Parkway, Suite 250, Mishawaka, IN 46545.

If there are joint owners, any owner can opt out on behalf on the other joint owners. The practices and policies contained in this Privacy Policy replace all previous notices or statements with respect to the same subject. This Privacy Policy is for the sole use of Indiana Trust & Investment Management Company and will not apply to your relationship with other financial service providers, such as banks, or investment brokers that are not part of Indiana Trust & Investment Management Company. Their privacy policies will govern how they collect, use and disclose personal information that you allow them to access.
