Muncie, Ind. – Indiana Trust and Investment Management Company announces that applications are available for two scholarships in the east central Indiana area (defined as Blackford, Delaware, Grant, Henry, Jay, Madison, Randolph or Wayne county).

One $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to an east central Indiana high school senior accepted and enrolled at Anderson University for the 2006-2007 school year.

One $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to an east central Indiana high school senior accepted and enrolled at Ball State University for the 2006-2007 school year.

Candidates must be Indiana residents who are currently enrolled in the senior class of an east central Indiana high school. Applications for the 2005 Indiana Trust and Investment Management Company Scholarships are available through the offices of east central Indiana high school guidance counselors or by calling Coles Public Relations at 317-571-0051.

“We developed the scholarships to reward the hard work of students planning to attend either Anderson University or Ball State University,” states Ted Jarvis, senior vice president/senior portfolio manager for Indiana Trust and Investment Management Company’s Muncie office.
