Scholarship Winner Announced
Anderson University
ANDERSON, Ind. – Indiana Trust and Investment Management Company is pleased to announce that Taylor Cox is the recipient of the Indiana Trust and Investment Management Company Scholarship to Anderson University. The Indiana Trust and Investment Management Scholarship awards $1,500 to a high school senior who will be attending Anderson University in the fall.
After graduating from Shenandoah High School, Cox will attend Anderson University with a goal of earning a degree in accounting or nursing. During her years at Shenandoah High School, Cox maintained a presence on the school’s honor roll and participated in volleyball where she received the Spirit Award and served as team captain. She is very involved with her church and enjoys taking photos, reading and spending time with her family and friends.
“There are many students in our community who make us proud and Taylor has shown outstanding leadership and an excellent academic career,” states Edward Huffman, vice president/trust officer of Indiana Trust and Investment Management. “Her goals and relationship to her community are something we at Indiana Trust are honored to recognize with this scholarship.”
The Indiana Trust and Investment Management Scholarship to Anderson University was established in 2005 to honor an east central Indiana high school senior. Previous scholarship recipients include Rhonda Nunez, graduate of Winchester High School, Cody Young, graduate of Delta High School, and Christopher Rowe, graduate of Alexandria-Monroe High School. Since 2005, Indiana Trust and Investment Management Company has awarded $12,000 in scholarships to area students.
