Mr. Gordon joined Indiana Trust Company 1996. Originally from Rensselaer, N.Y., Mr. Gordon graduated from Hamilton College with a B.A. in History. He then completed his Masters and Doctorate in Education at Indiana University, Bloomington. From 1978 to 1984 he was Associate Director of Admissions and Assistant to the President at Western New England College in Springfield, Massachusetts. At WNEC he also taught American History and assisted the Development Office in a Capital Campaign. In 1984 Mr. Gordon moved to South Bend, Indiana where he became Director of Continuing Education at Memorial Hospital. In 1987, he joined Saint Joseph's Medical Center as Director of Development for the hospital's foundation. During that time he directed the Annual Campaign, led a special campaign for an indigent care clinic, and put together an annual Hole-in-One golf event that benefited the residential centers served by Holy Cross Care Services. In 1990, Mr. Gordon joined Society Bank as a Trust Officer directing development within northern Indiana. In 1992 he was promoted to Assistant Vice President for Personal Trust Sales. From 1994 to 1996 as Vice President he administered over 250 personal trust accounts. At Indiana Trust Company, Mr. Gordon serves the trust and investment needs of individual, charitable and corporate clients. In 1998, he earned the prestigious Certified Trust & Financial Advisor (CTFA) designation.
