Mr. Klehfoth joined Indiana Trust in June of 2008. He has over 40 years of experience in trust and investment management. Prior to joining Indiana Trust Company, Klehfoth spent 32 years with JPMorgan Private Client Services as Vice President and Senior Trust Advisor. During his tenure at JPMorgan in Elkhart, Mr. Klehfoth held several positions, including Vice President and Personal Trust Administration Manager and Vice President and Senior Investment Manager.
Klehfoth graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Business Administration. Klehfoth is also the recipient of the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation, as well as the Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFA) designation.
Active in the Elkhart community, Klehfoth currently serves on both the corporate and foundation Boards of Directors for Oaklawn. Klehfoth also is active in other community-based organizations, including serving on the Board of Directors for the Elkhart Central High School Commemorative Scholarship Foundation. In 2005, Klehfoth received The Paul Samuelson Enterprise Award for Community Leaders. This award from The Indiana Council for Economic Education is presented annually to one individual in the state of Indiana. Klehfoth received the distinguished award “in recognition of his enthusiastic and dedicated commitment to economic education and financial literacy in the Elkhart region.” Klehfoth is a member of the Elkhart and Michiana Estate Planning Councils.
